About Take Two: 

Take Two is a state-wide service providing high quality therapeutic services to children and young people who have suffered significant abuse or neglect and are clients of Child Protection.

Take Two is an intensive therapeutic service for infants, children and young people who have suffered trauma, neglect and disrupted attachment. It provides high quality therapeutic services for children and their families, as well as contributing to the service system that provides care, support and protection for these children.

About the role:

The Take Two research and evaluation team undertakes regular evaluation of the Take Two program as well as contributing to broader knowledge and research regarding the client group and the issues confronting them. We are seeking a Research Officer to assist in conducting a formulative and summative evaluation of Take Two, assist with literature reviews, data entry, analysis and report writing.

This role is part time (0.4 EFT) and comes with a motor vehicle allowance ($10,500 p.a full time equivalent).

About you:

The successful applicant will have highly developed research skills and very strong written skills. You will have an understanding of the complexity of the service system and experience working with children, young people, families and carers. You will have a sound understanding of child development, trauma theory, attachment theory and system work. A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline is required for this position.
