The Opportunity
Due to our continued success and to accommodate our strategic growth we are currently seeking to expand our fundraising team and have an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic fundraising professional. This newly created position brings the opportunity to build a high performing team to enable us to deliver on our strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and execute on Berry Street’s Individual Giving portfolio
- Lead, coach and mentor a high performing team
- Direct and implement the strategy for Mid donor, Appeals, Donor Relations, and Regular Giving programs
- Identify and develop prospects for Bequests & Major Gifts
- Build relationships with internal, external stakeholders, supporters and donors
- Contribute to the future strategy, defining business goals and outcomes
- Provide support and advice on direct marketing campaigns
- Develop individual giving strategies that builds loyalty and value
- Manage and implement targeted campaigns
- Manage budgets and reporting

About You
- Degree qualification in business/marketing/communications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a fundraising role with income responsibility
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital fundraising and/or marketing programs
- Sound understanding of donor management and donor systems
- Proven track record in building relationships with major donors
- Campaign & Direct Marketing experience across direct and digital channels
