About the role:

Berry Street is looking for a new Philanthropic Grants Manager with our current Manager of more than eight years deciding to move on. This role is part of the Philanthropy team, responsible for developing and managing relationships and generating financial support from Major Donors, Corporates, Bequests and Trusts and Foundations. The role aims to develop and manage relationships with philanthropic trusts and foundations to secure funding for innovation, specific projects and general support.

This role will undertake funding administration and support activities including matching projects with funding, managing contracts and preparing acquittal reporting.

This is a full time, permanent position (although we would consider part time for the right person) with a highly competitive salary to be negotiated dependant on experience, along with generous salary packaging.

About you:

The Philanthropic Grants Manager will identify Trust and Foundation funding opportunities and match Berry Street’s needs to funding opportunities. You will possess the ability to write submissions for funding, manage grant agreements and write funding acquittals in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.

You will be tertiary qualified and will have high-level networking and relationship-building skills, along with excellent time management skills.
