About Take Two: 

Take Two is a state-wide service providing high quality therapeutic services to children and young people who have suffered significant abuse or neglect and are clients of Child Protection.

Take Two is an intensive therapeutic service for infants, children and young people who have suffered trauma, neglect and disrupted attachment. It provides high quality therapeutic services for children and their families, as well as contributing to the service system that provides care, support and protection for these children.


About the role:

The primary objectives of the Clinician role will include:

  • Provision of high quality assessment and advice relating to the care of Child Protection clients referred to the Take Two program.
  • Provision of counselling and therapeutic interventions for children, young people and their families.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the client, their families and the care team to achieve therapeutic goals and outcomes.

This position comes with a full private use vehicle.

 

About you:

We are seeking a Clinician who has relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline. You will have a sound understanding of the complexities of the service system, a demonstrated ability to provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families, and a sound understanding and demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and workers.
