Join Victoria’s largest independent child welfare organisation and become a vital part of a team that never gives up doing whatever it takes for kids. We believe everyone should have a good childhood, growing up in families and communities where they feel safe, nurtured and have hope for the future.
The goal of this project is to ensure all Morwell families are equipped to support their children’s learning and development in their early years. To date, 35 child-focused agencies have mobilised behind the development of the Morwell Learning Village with a shared plan to improve education and social outcomes for children of Morwell. The invitation from the Morwell community for Berry Street to support Phase One of this project is a direct result of our extensive work leading a collective impact approach to addressing childhood development issues in the region
Now in its third year the Broadening Horizons Project has seen the development and trial of an innovative learning model, involving educators and organisational employees working collaboratively, co-designing and co-delivering units of work. The learning model has re-framed school curriculum to incorporate the ‘world of work’ and reflect the enterprise skills and dispositions needed within the workplace. Broadening Horizons is providing meaningful, ongoing workplace-linked learning opportunities for the students of eleven Gippsland government secondary schools and more than 12 organisations, including business, across Gippsland
The successful candidate will have strong administration skills and a can do attitude. Working alongside the Project Manager of Broadening Horizons you will contribute to the Gippslands Community prosperity and social economic growth.
