Receptionist/Administration Assistant

Permanent Part Time position (50 hours per fortnight)

The Disability Trust is committed to providing highly professional care and support to people with disabilities and their families. Based in regional NSW and the ACT, The Disability Trust provides a wide range of services to participants from the Hunter Region to the Victorian border. 

About the role:

We are looking for a Receptionist/Administration Assistant for our Cooma office which ensures that consumers, employees and members of the public are dealt with in a polite, friendly and efficient manner when contacting the organisation.

You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including reception and assisting management. Projecting a positive image of the organisation in all contexts is required at all times.

What we are looking for:

  • Pleasant telephone manner with experience operating a switchboard
  • Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong administrative skills including word processing, data entry, filing and photocopying
  • Experience in the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and databases
  • Experience in following and maintaining established office administrative systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Awareness and knowledge of confidentiality and privacy practices
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • A cleared Working with Children Check
  • Cleared Criminal Record Check obtained within 12 months
