The Opportunity

Berry Street South Eastern Case Management Services (SECMS) is funded by Department of Health and Human Services to provide intensive support and case management to children and young people on statutory Child Protection orders.

The program provides complex, intensive and general Home Based Care for children and young people who are unable to live with their own families. This role will hold a caseload, providing case management intervention to provide preventative and secondary level support. You will be responsible for assisting families to strengthen their parenting capacity to build their childs safety, stability and development.

About You

You will be a quick learner with high energy and commitment to your clients, yet able to work within the parameters of the role. You will need to be able to work flexible hours to provide a responsive service to your clients. Ideally you will have prior experience in case management and engaging with high risk adolescents. 

Experience undertaking contracted case management within DHHS, Child Protection or another similar agency will be looked on favourably.

A relevant Bachelor qualification minimum in Social Work, Youth Work or a related discipline is essential for this position.
