About Take Two: 

Take Two is a state-wide service providing high quality therapeutic services to children and young people who have suffered significant abuse, neglect or disrupted attachment and are clients of Child Protection.

About the role:

The Clinical Team Leader holds an important role in the Take Two team, leading a team of Clinicians providing intensive therapeutic services to children and young people and the systems around them. The Clinical Team Leader manages all day to day clinical activities of the team as well as ensuring compliance standards are met.

This role will be responsible for:

  • The oversight of a clinical team ensuring high quality clinical services for children and young people including providing supervision and ensuring high quality services and timely reports are delivered
  • Liaising and building strong working relationships with DHHS Principal Practitioners to ensure the relevant regional referral processes are in place and targets are met
  • Building strong and collaborative relationships with relevant partner agencies and programs including Therapeutic Residential Care and Stronger Families
  • Lead, support and build a strong culture within your team
  • Ensure that relevant client records are maintained according to Australasian standards

About you:

The successful candidate will have demonstrated management and leadership skills, including the ability to build a team and team members to perform well. You will have experience providing clinical supervision, monitoring workloads and individual performance as well as the ability to provide secondary consultation and advice to clinical staff and other professionals.

To be successful in this role, a tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy, Child Psychotherapy, Occupational Therapy or related discipline is required. A minimum of 7 years’ experience conducting clinical work is ideal. Experience in supervising clinical staff is also required.
