About the role:

The GOALS (Going Out and Living Successfully) Program is a holistic support service for young people aged between 16-25 years who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The program provides support to young people with the aim of achieving independent living by providing practical support and resources during the young person’s participation with the GOALS Program. The GOALS Program offers support to young people across a number of domains including accommodation, independent living skill development/consolidation, education and training, social and personal development and community connections within a community residential setting.

We are seeking a part-time Case Manager to the join the GOALS team. The Case Manager will be involved in the day to day running of the program and property. The Case Manager will carry a case load of young people, providing them support, information and advocacy to ensure their personal development and community connectedness.

About you:

The successful candidate will be passionate about working with young people who may at times have challenging support needs. You will have a broad understanding of youth homelessness and the challenges these young people may face. You will be a team player with the ability to work flexibly, including some afterhours work when required to facilitate house meetings or other group activities.

A minimum Bachelor level qualification in Youth/Social Work or associated human service field is required for this role.
