About the role: 

The position of Engage! Project Worker delivers opportunities for young people to connect with and contribute to their community. The Project Worker will facilitate the development of young people aged 12 – 25 years, through the exciting new Launching Youth Forward (LYF) project providing participants with an opportunity to start their pathway to education or employment and community connectedness right at the beginning. The role will including project promotion, participant intake & assessment and co-developing Individual Launch Plans.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have a strong commitment to empowering disadvantaged young people. You will be skilled at building positive relationships with both project participants and other stakeholders. You will have previous experience providing support and services to young people facing barriers to employment and education. A tertiary qualification in social work, welfare, teaching or a related social science is required for this role.
