About the role:

Berry Street Recruitment is centrally managed by the People and Culture Team and works in close partnership with Regional Leadership teams. The role is responsible for leading the recruitment function and coordinating all recruitment activity across the organisation.

The position carries a recruitment load and provides supervision to a team of busy, productive HR Officers. In addition, the HR Coordinator will ensure all reporting requirements are met and the distribution of workload is equitable amongst the HR Officers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Professional to make a genuine difference in a well regarded Community Services organisation by driving and coordinating quality Recruitment procedures and ensuring we source the right candidates. 

About you:

You are a current HR Professional with great time management and administration skills in order to coordinate large scale recruitment activity. You will role model and demonstrate Berry Street’s values in all you do, complementing a positive, can-do attitude.

You will have experience in supervising and coaching staff with proven success and will enjoy reviewing systems and procedures to ensure Berry Street’s recruitment processes consistently operate at a high standard.

Every day will be different, and you will have the personal satisfaction of knowing your work really does matter.  A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or a related discipline coupled with at least 2 years’ experience in HR/Recruitment is essential.
