About the role:

Berry Street in the Hume Region provides a Foster Care service, which aims to meet the needs of children and young people who are unable to live at home with their family for periods of time.  The service offers a continuum of care ranging from overnight through to longer term care for children aged from birth to 18 years of age. The service provides Foster Care to voluntary clients from the community and statutory clients involved with Child Protection. We are seeking a passionate Case Manager to participate in the delivery of a high quality Foster Care program via the appropriate matching of children and young people to trained foster families. You will provide case management to clients in both voluntary and statutory foster care, including direct work with young people and birth families, and provide supervision and support to volunteer foster families.

About you:

The successful applicant will possess skills and experience in the provision of case management to children and young people who have experienced trauma and abuse and an ability to work with volunteer Foster Carers.   A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Youth Work or a related discipline is also required and experience in the out of home care sector is desirable.
