About the role:

Berry Street’s Northern Home Based Care program is funded by Department of Health and Human Services to provide home based care placements and case management to young people between the ages birth and 17 years who are placed in Home Based Care placements.

The Team Leader will lead and support a team of case managers including providing supervision and professional development to staff. The Team Leader will be responsible with case allocation, case planning and monitor workloads of the team while ensuring compliance.

About you:

The successful candidate will have significant leadership experience providing support, supervision and direction to both staff and volunteer caregivers. You will have case management experience and a passion for working with young people, carers and families. You will have strong interpersonal skills coupled with advanced report writing skills. A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Youth Work or other related discipline is required in this position.
