  • This role is based out of our Eaglemont however you will be hands on engaging with the community and our young people.

ABOUT YOU

  • Part time – 0.6/3 days a week until March 2020
  • You will be responsible for providing ongoing practical and emotional support to assist individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills.
  • Your responsibilities include providing access and brokerage and assisting young people transitioning from care to independent living.
  • You will work with young people aged 16 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless
  • You will foster strong relationships with referral partners in the areas of counselling, accommodation, employment, education, health well being and social and family relationships. 
  • You have a tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in Youth/Social Work or associated human services field (essential).

REMUNERATION

  • The base salary for this position is SCHCADS Level 5, Pay Point 1 which is currently $72,296.41 under the Berry Street Victoria 2014-2017 Agreement.
  • The value of the salary can be increased through salary packaging.
