The Wilderness Program is aimed at young people aged 13 to 16 years old and is a voluntary experience.  It consists of multi-day hiking journey through remote National Parks of Victoria and Australia. There will be opportunities for self-reflection, learning new skills and forming new and positive relationships. The participants will be encouraged to work together and form their own community to help each other through their journey. The program also consists of a 3 day reconnect camp and subsequent reconnect days.

The role will extend to all Wilderness Programs on an as needs basis. The Adventure Therapy Facilitator will assist the Wilderness Program trip leader and senior coordinator to deliver an outdoor experiential intervention.

The successful applicant will be required to attend a ten day camp from the 23rd to 31st October 2018 and a three day camp from 28th to 30th November 2018.

Applicants should have a Diploma of Outdoor Recreation, a Wilderness First Aid and be a qualified raft guide and bush walking guide.
