Take Two, an integral part of Berry Street, is a Victorian-wide service established to provide high quality therapeutic services to children and young people who have suffered significant abuse or neglect and are clients of Child Protection. Approximately 20% of Take Two’s client group are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.

We are seeking an Aboriginal Clinical Team Leader to lead the State-wide Clinical program. The role will provide oversight of team service provision and ensuring a quality and culturally appropriate clinical service is provided in a timely manner. The role will also assist the Manager to maintain relevant stakeholder relationships, and will ensure that client records are maintained according to Australasian standards.

The successful candidate will bring their clinical experience and practice wisdom to inform Take Two Program’s work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people. Ideally we are seeking applicants with a minimum of 7 years practice experience working extensively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander infants, children and young people, families, carers, and communities. Clinical experience in a trauma-informed and developmental context is central to this role. You will have demonstrated leadership skills and a strong commitment to working collaboratively and the capacity to negotiate and liaise with DHS, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, other agencies and the community.

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or related discipline are required for this role.
