We are seeking an experienced professional with combined knowledge of the quality of care frameworks that surround children and young people in out of home care placements, coupled with previous experience in conducting workplace investigations.

The role of Senior Consultant, Workplace Investigations will sit within the Human Resources Team and will primarily be focussed on supporting our Home Based Care programs to investigate Quality of Care matters involving foster carers. It may also undertake workplace investigations in other programs as and when required.

The objectives of the role essentially include:

  • Screening incidents within 72 hours of occurrence
  • Undertaking investigative interviews and gathering all documentation necessary
  • Writing up of investigation reports collating information, with sound recommendations
  • Ensuring outcomes are documented and followed

Our ideal applicant will have significant experience in workplace investigations and an understanding of Home Based Care. They will be able to maintain ethical, transparent and respectful working relationships with all stakeholders whilst ensuring we continue to meet our duty of care to the young people in our placements.

You will have empathy, excellent interview skills, a keen eye for identifying key issues and be able to write with clarity and purpose. This will be a busy role and will require someone who has mastered the ability to balance multiple and complex competing priorities.
